Tattoo!!.........ouch.

Blondie and I got our tattoos last night. It was a fun experience and we highly recommend Painted Temple Tattoo in Provo, Utah. Mike did our tattoos and did a quality job. Yes, it did sting a bit, but nothing too unbearable. I really like how he did the yin yang with the tribal design on me. I like the Eastern philosophies such as Taoism and Buddhism. Blondie's butterfly is spectacular, the colors look so cool. Blondie and I are already planning on when we want to get our next ones. Good times.

  2. That's exactly what I was just about to ask you... you must just keep staring at it!! hehe.

    Congrats guys, they look awesome!

Hey Bowie, you can only see yours by looking in the mirror, I'm thinking that's the drawback for tattoos on your back. I'm thinking I'd like one in a spot where I can see it. When I have the funds I'll get into it. In the meantime I need to think more about a design.

yay, good on you two :)

  3. My tattoo is actually on my chest. I can look down and see it or see it in the mirror all the time. I love it. It feels good to be independent and do something that we want to do instead of having to get permission first.

  4. The funny thing, Maureen, is that I debated where to get mine because I was nervous that if I got it in a place that would show then people would look down on me. Then I realized that I really wanted something that would show others that I'm not a Mormon because I still kind of look like a Mormon mom. Also, it shows that I'm doing what I want and I don't care what the church says.

I know there will be people who won't like it and will think I'm a horrible person, but I just don't give a damn. I can't count how many people at work I showed my tattoo to today. I just love it and want to show it off. I guess that's another reason not to get it on my boob or something like that;)

  5. oops, sorry Bowie. It was hard to get the right perspective looking at the close up photo, now I see it! cool, so you do get to enjoy looking at it then.

I think that it is a pretty great way to be able to silently express your new way of life!

  6. I am so jealous of you both!!! I have wanted to get on my shoulder for about two years now. I am just not that brave! I will be in town this summer. I will have to remember Temple Tattoo because those look good.
